Types of Passes

Employment Pass

The Employment Pass is for foreign professionals, managers and executives. For applications before 1 January 2027, the minimum qualifying salary starts at S$5,600 generally and S$6,200 in financial services, and rises with age. Most candidates must also pass COMPASS. Check the linked page for exemptions and the announced 2027 thresholds.

S Pass

The S Pass is for eligible skilled workers. For new applications submitted before 1 January 2027, the qualifying salary starts at S$3,300 generally and S$3,800 in financial services, and rises with age. Quota, levy and other employer requirements also apply.

Dependant’s Pass

The Dependant’s Pass allows spouses and children of Employment Pass or S Pass holders to join them in Singapore. Find out which family members are eligible and how to apply for the pass.

Personalised Employment Pass

The Personalised Employment Pass is for high-earning Employment Pass holders and overseas foreign professionals. It is not tied to an employer and offers greater flexibility than an Employment Pass.

Letter of Consent for ICA-issued LTVP/LTVP+ holders

You can apply for a Letter of Consent to work in Singapore if you are an eligible Dependant’s Pass holder, or an LTVP/LTVP+ holder who is the spouse or unmarried child of a Singaporean or permanent resident. Find out the eligibility requirements and how to apply.

Letter of Consent for Dependant’s Pass holders who are business owners

Entry Visa

A Singapore entry visa is a pre-entry permission for foreign nationals from specific countries to travel to and seek entry, not a guarantee of entry. It is required for short-term visits (tourism, business) and must be applied for in advance.

Work Holiday Pass (Under Work Holiday Programme)

Long Term Visit Pass

Performing Artiste Work Permit scheme closed
