Work and Holiday Visa Programme Singapore: Work Holiday Pass

Separate Work and Holiday Visa Programmes for eligible Australian and New Zealand citizens, with a stay of up to 12 months.

Who qualifies?

Applicants must be citizens of Australia or New Zealand, aged 18 to 30 when applying, and hold a university degree or have completed the equivalent of two years of full-time undergraduate study.

Work and study conditions

Holders may be employees of ACRA-registered companies or organisations registered with the Registry of Societies. Freelancing is not permitted. Employment with the same employer is limited to six months. Regulated professions require the relevant registration, and study or training is limited to the period allowed by the particular programme.

Validity

The pass lasts 12 months, is issued only once and cannot be renewed. It has no foreign-worker levy and does not provide passes for family members.

This differs from the six-month Work Holiday Programme, which has its own age and university criteria. Check the correct programme before applying.
