How to Obtain SingPass for Foreign Individuals?
Since April 11, 2021, the login process for CorpPass now requires users to verify their identity through SingPass in order to access government digital services for conducting transactions.
When logging in to CorpPass, you will be directed to authenticate through SingPass, enabling you to gain access to digital services or select the relevant UEN identity for conducting transactions.
What is SingPass?
SingPass is a mandatory authorization system for handling affairs on various government websites in Singapore, regardless of whether you are a Singapore citizen, permanent resident, or hold different Singapore work permits, long-term social visas, family visas, and more.
SingPass, managed by GovTech (Government Technology Agency of Singapore), serves as your digital passport on Singapore government websites. Typically, the SingPass account number is the applicant’s Singapore ID number (NRIC number) or Singapore Pass number (FIN number).
SingPass ensures that you receive essential notifications from the Singapore government, including reminders for ID card re-registration and passport renewal.
To be eligible for SingPass, you must belong to one of the following categories:
- Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents
- Employment Pass and Personalised Employment Pass holders
- EntrePass holders
- S-Pass holders
- Dependant Pass holders (of EP, PEP, EntrePass, and S-Pass holders)
- Long Term Visit Pass-Plus (LTVP+) holders
- Selected Long Term Visit Pass holders
- Work Permit holders
- Student Pass holders
- Immigration Exemption Order holders
Please note that the minimum age requirement for SingPass application is 15 years old.
SingPass Registration Process
SingPass Counter Application: Required Information for Application:
- Singapore citizens: Singapore passport, Singapore National ID card, driving license, ID card, valid pass issued by SPF, SAF or SCDF
- PR permanent residents: passport and re-entry permit, Singapore center, Singapore driving license, valid permit issued by SPF, SAF or SCDF
- Employment Pass and Entrepreneur Pass holders: Pass card or valid pass issued by the Ministry of Manpower and passport
- S Pass holders: Pass card or Singapore driving license
- Work Permit holders: Pass card or Singapore driving license and approval letter
- Dependant’s Pass holders: Long-term pass card or valid pass issued by the Ministry of Manpower and passport
Online Application: Apply on the SingPass website and expect to receive the password within approximately 5 working days after submitting the application.
The password will be sent to the address provided during the relevant pass application. If your address has changed, please update it before applying for SingPass.

- Specific date of ID card or permit issuance
